Our Key Initiatives
Scientific Event Support
KASRA supports researchers in planning and running scientific events more easily. We provide practical assistance — from developing event management tools and helping with outreach to connecting communities — so that conferences, seminars, and workshops can run smoothly.
We are especially committed to reducing the challenges that small research groups and early-career researchers face when organizing events, and to fostering environments where researchers can freely collaborate across disciplines.
What We Do
- Develop and provide open-source tools for event planning and management
- Support the hosting of conferences, symposia, and workshops
- Assist early-career researchers and small research groups in organizing events
- Help plan and promote international joint academic events
- Build researcher communities and facilitate networking
Supported Communities
Scientific communities supported by KASRA.
SCSOK
Single Cell & Spatial Omics Korea
SCSOK is an open community of researchers in Korea focused on single-cell and spatial omics. It brings together wet-lab and dry-lab researchers from diverse backgrounds — biology, medicine, computer science, mathematics, engineering, and statistics — to share knowledge and advance this rapidly growing field.
Tools We Build
Open-source software we develop and share freely to support better scientific events.
IEUM
Conference Management System
From abstract submissions to registration, peer review, and speaker management — an open-source platform that handles every step of running a scientific event. Free for everyone to use and improve.

LiveCapTran
Live Captioning & Translation
Turns a speaker's voice into live subtitles and translates them on the fly. Helps every participant follow a presentation regardless of language — because great science should have no language barriers.
