Research Committee
The KASRA Research Committee brings together representatives from across the association's research institutes to foster communication and collaboration beyond disciplinary boundaries. It serves as the forum where researchers collectively shape the direction of the association's scientific endeavors.
Three Divisions
Biomedical Division
Medicine & Life Sciences
Covers research in medicine, life sciences, and related applied fields.
Physics & Chemistry Division
Physical & Chemical Sciences
Covers research in physics, chemistry, and related applied disciplines.
Humanities Division
Science & Society
Addresses research at the intersection of science and society from humanistic and social science perspectives.
Each division identifies shared challenges among its member institutes and explores opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
What We Do
- Identify common interests across institutes and discuss collaborative strategies.
- Advise the Board of Directors on the association's research direction and policies.
- Share research trends across divisions and promote interdisciplinary work.
- Develop recommendations for improving the research environment.
How to Participate
The Research Committee is composed of representative members elected by each of the association's research institutes. Any research fellow affiliated with an institute may be nominated as a representative, and institute directors participate in the committee by default.
